Frequently asked questions
Are supplements a replacement for vet or medical treatment?
No. Supplements support everyday health alongside a good diet and routine care. If your dog is unwell, on medication, pregnant or has a health condition — or you have a medical condition yourself — speak to your vet or doctor first.
Can I give my dog more than one Biotic’s Gain chew?
Often yes, but check the labels for overlapping ingredients, follow the feeding guide on each tub, and ask your vet if your dog is on any medication.
How should I introduce a new chew?
Start gradually over a few days and follow the feeding guide on the tub. This gives your dog’s tummy time to adjust.
How long before I notice a difference?
Supplements work gradually, so give any new one several weeks of consistent daily use before judging it. Skin, coat and joint support usually take longer to show than support for a one-off event.
Is the Salmon Oil suitable for cats?
Yes — our Salmon Oil is made for both dogs and cats. Follow the serving guide on the bottle for your pet’s weight. It’s currently available on Amazon Australia only.
I take biotin. Does it matter if I’m having a blood test?
Yes — tell your doctor or the clinic before any blood test. High-dose biotin can interfere with some laboratory results, and they may ask you to pause it beforehand.
Is your collagen halal?
Yes. Our Multi Collagen Peptides are halal, grass-fed and GMO-free. They’re currently available on Amazon UK and Australia.
Which Amazon store sells each product?
Our five dog chews and Biotin Gummies are on Amazon UK, US and Australia. Multi Collagen Peptides are on Amazon UK and Australia. Salmon Oil for Dogs & Cats and Whey Protein Isolate are on Amazon Australia only.
